Beginning a new school year is exciting. Not only do we have a fresh start, but we get to use new school supplies. Fun! Below is a list of supplies that each student will be using in my class. As a school we'll provide the basic school supplies, but if you would like a greater choice of color or pattern or would even like to help defray the cost and provide your own supplies, you are welcome to. If you would like, you may even help us out and purchase extras of these supplies for use in our classroom. I have samples of each of these outside my classroom so you may see exactly what we will be using.
Basic student supplies
- 2 composition notebooks (100 sheets, wide ruled, 9 1/4 x 7 1/2 in.)
- 12 #2 lead pencils
- colored pencils
- 5 glue sticks
- 2 paper pocket portfolios with fastener (stapled-in fastener)
Helpful supplies
- 1 pencil sharpener that will contain shavings (non-electric)
- 12 eraser caps
Classroom supplies
- liquid hand sanitizer
- facial tissues
- sandwich-size or gallon-size zip-top bags
Also, a local business generously donated a 3-ring 'Trapper' style binder for each student. So don't feel you'll need to purchase one of these.
